Connecting Luv: Who Will it be for Sherah?

Greetings Readers!

Eva and AJ—mostly Eva, have been engrossed in Connecting Luv Duties.  Here are the results:

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have two candidates for sweet and funny 19-year-old Sherah's choosing (which, as you will see, we take from her—as we have the power of veto).

Presenting…  Kyle T.!!
Kyle is 20 years old and currently attending Northwest University, where he's working on a Youth Ministry major. Growing up as a pastor’s kid means he’s been pretty involved in the church forever (in his lifetime, anyways!).  The great thing about that – he learned the term “volunteer” actively; no dictionary needed!

In high school he considered himself a nerd – look in the band room/computer room/history room and you're sure to find him! Kyle was part of band from junior high through highschool; he also did drama for a couple years and was part of the school knowledge-bowl team (think Jeopardy with teams).  When it comes to homework and things of which he’s not a huge fan, Kyle waits for the procrastination pressure to kick in; however when he’s found his niche, things get done in no time!  

As of now – Kyle enjoys working with videos and eventually wants to start filming and his own short videos (time and equipment currently in short supply…). He also likes video games even though he’s not an expert – most times he’d rather watch his friends play.

Musically speaking Kyle gets along well; not up there with the pros, but he plays trumpet, sings and he learned drums for the Worship team at church. Most of all Kyle’s faith is important to him; despite his proud human nature he humbly realizes his err ability and is constantly working on his flaws.

 Kyle thinks Sherah seems down-to-earth and friendly – he understands her shyness at first because he tends to be the same way! He has a feeling she knows how to have fun J ; playing guitar hero, bowling, and performing a skit to a Veggie-tales song (a video his mom sent him) (does every mother meddle?). Most definitely – she sure is pretty! Although, Kyle has one bone to pick with her – Taylor Lautner and his relationship to “the book that must not be named”… !! (As you may or may not guess, he’s more of a Harry Potter fan.)

And now, Sherah, please meet…Mark L.

Mark is a young professional (age 27) in Washington, D.C and is in his last semester of graduate school at Johns Hopkins University.  

Whoa, whoa, whoa—27? Grad school?  Let's hold up a second—

One one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand . . .

After reviewing the rest of Mark L's page, we at Connecting Luv have come to a unanimous decision that  the best match for Sherah is Kyle T—who is lovable, musical, possessing the perfect amount of residual nerdiness—AND who happens to be in the stereotypically more appropriate age bracket.  We feel confident that this is a good decision, though we haven't engaged in enough good decision making to be completely sure.  We're going with our gut on this one.

Pending Sherah's approval of our decision, we will get email addresses to where they need to go.

So a hearty and premature CONGRATULATIONS to Kyle T.!

What about Mark L.????

Never fear, Eva and AJ!  We can't forget about him as he's been such a great sport in entertaining our silly blog.  We've offered Mark L. a  Rose to become our next bachelor candidate, and he's accepted with wide eyes and enthusiasm.  We'll be hearing Eva's report about him on Friday.  So Sherah and Kyle, take a few days to get to know one another because the clock is ticking till your indentured servitude kicks in here at Connecting Luv.
