Connecting Luv: Rachel P.!

The warm and lovely Rachel P.
Good Wednesday, Readers!

It's time for Amy W. and Mark L. to put their heads together for our next Connecting Luv Candidate.

Here's introducing the one and only Rachel P.!

Rachel Phelps is a 23-year-old who lives in Kansas City. She has her Bachelor’s in English Literature and currently works as a clinician for Applied Learning Processes, a private center for dyslexia treatment. She has experience in journalism as a reporter and editor, but her true passion is fiction.  She has been scribbling ever since she can remember and is working toward her dream being a published novelist.

Three things you should know about Rachel—in her own words:

1.      1. I am a crossword addict. Literally. I get shaky if I don't get to do one Monday-Friday. I have the official title of "Crossword Queen" at work, which I won by solving an entire crossword in under 7 minutes. I don't need someone who is also an addict, but I do need someone who won't get mad if I start saying, "What's a ten-letter word for mild anger?" (irritation)

2. I LOVE theatre. I love to act, even though I'm not particularly good. I love to write skits and plays. I love helping out backstage.

3. Despite (or perhaps because of) growing up in a musical family, I really not could care less if my match has musical talent. The ability to at least sit through a choral or symphony concert would be helpful, but I really don't care if he can sing, strum a guitar or pound a drum. Not a major concern.

We at Connecting Now conducted a "Chat Interview" in our private Connecting Luv Chat Room--swanky.  We can attest to the fact that Rachel P. is warm and quirky and talented.  Now it's up to Amy W. and Mark L. to brainstorm about possible connections.  They can make up a quiz or another tool for measuring basic compatibility.

The sky's the limit.

As always, Readers, if you think of someone who seems like a great match—just say the word. We wait with bated breath.  Or is that baited breath?

  2. Ahhh, our dear Rachel. I've watched her climb through the ranks at faithwriters at the pace her young talent deserves. I know the man that will someday automatically slide the crossword section of the morning paper out and slip it to her over their morning coffee will be blessed with the mixed bag of fun and delight she has to offer.
