Not a Blog Post

Dear Readers,
How I feel tonight!
This is not a blog post.  I couldn't write one today.  A real coNUNdrum for someone who set a schedule and has adhered to it for months.  A person who has trouble adhering to rules in general and self-imposed ones even more—kind of like my friend, Holly.

So, in true rebel form, I was going to skip one single Friday.  But then I looked to friends to give me license, and one of them named, Mari told me to post a funny picture in lieu of a post—in other words she didn't give me an easy out, an "I quit".

That's a real friend.

After thirty days of novel writing, blog writing, short story writing, I felt burned out—but a friend picked me up.  This is not a blog post—Maddie and I will get on a special Saturday edition, tomorrow, on Saturday.  It may be the next installment of Connecting Luv, it may be a coNUNdrum—we'll wake up and hash it out.

Fortunately, our friend, Verna had sent this picture to me a long time ago, and I've saved it, knowing I feel like this from time to time.  Thank you, Verna:)
Tonight, I want to give a salute to all the people in our lives who don't let us give up when that's what we want to do.  May I play that role in someone else's life this holiday season.
Talk to you all tomorrow.
Thanks, Mari.
All in Goodwill,
Lisa

  1. Just so I'm clear: You'll have a special Saturday edition tomorrow, on Saturday. I just want to make sure that this Saturday edition will be tomorrow, which is Saturday. Because a special Saturday edition that comes out tomorrow, on Saturday, would really be some thing to look forward to. Tomorrow. On Saturday.

Love you Lisa... You inspire me to work extra hard to have my next blog post, a special Saturday edition, sometime on Sunday. 'Cause that's just how I roll.

  6. Haha, I feel like that rooster quite often. (((hugs to you, Lisa))) We love our friends who pick us up when we need it and who give us a boot to get to work or permission to rest, depending on which is needed.

Oh, and as for the Saturday edition tomorrow, which is Saturday (only it's not now, because it's 12:35 and tomorrow is now Sunday), today I told Jan I get to sing at church tonight. She said, "Oh, a Friday service?" and I said, "No. It's tonight."
