Greetings Readers!
Here's Entry #2—a poetic entry at that—best read at a leisurely pace...
Beyond my window, in the garden across the road, I glance your leaving in a walk of solitude. Sun and shadows paint your silhouette against the roses edging your path; angels tend the fragrant air to stir memories of a mortal life shared – with me.You pause, my heart aches. Time, not to be recalled, hovers before me like sun-glinted mist, each particle a specter of deeds done ill or well. Each dampens my face. Each to which I’m accountable – of all pardoned.Death attempts to lock me in ceaseless despair; but love endures and will not be swallowed in its mockery. Because it’s death, not love, to be found incorruptible. Life, not love counted as mortal. You look back, our eyes meet – souls broken, now whole. Our love, sustained on God’s infinite promises, never to be diminished by time.
Lovely.

This is the kind of writing that I've always wished I could do-- so evocative of time and place, and touching both the senses and the emotions. Gorgeous! A beautiful tribute to love.
