Winner--the Epilogue

Dear Ol' Red (and other Wonderful Readers),

Your request in the last post's comments, has made it apparent that some of you (or maybe one of you) may not know that we are no longer the "Conundrum Solvers!" Yes, Betts, over at "Offbeat Advice" has taken over our role (which we begged her to take), and she is doing an incredible job!

In the spirit of that, we have employed Betts to solve the bathing suit conundrum that Ol' Red sent us after she became the winner of the $75.00 SwimSpot Gift Certificate.  Here it is:

Or lady friends! Lady Conundrum-Solver and I have come up with an idea! I've picked out a few choice swimsuits. Well, they're ideas, but not definite selections. I need your help. I won't wear bikini bottoms, even if they're under a blousy top, so keep that in mind. But, here are some ideas. But, I'd like to have your ideas. Can you help?

Honeybun has retired early tonight, so I'll have to let him in on the news in the morning. I can't wait to see his darling face when I tell him at the breakfast table in the morning!

So that's it, Betts--put on your aluminum headgear and give us (and Ol' Red) an answer!(Though we couldn't help peeking--we loved the first one and the second to the last.)

 P.S.  Maddie and I still have an awesome idea for a new blog--and I assure you that one of these days we will reveal it!  Soon even.

Winner Announced!

Dear Readers!

We have a winner for the $75 Gift Certificate  to SwimSpot!!!!!  I assigned a number to each person's chances and then used a random number generator to pick a winner.  Number 28 won and that correlated with Ol' Red!!!  Anonymous soul that she is!!!!  She and her Honeybun can pick something out together so only peace and love will reign i their kingdom!  

Maybe she'll send us a pic.

Apparently being an out-of-work Conundrum Solver has an upside—like you get to post about the trouble you get into while you have this extra time on your hands—and people enjoy it, (Schadenfreude at its finest!), and somehow Marketing People find you. 

And then you get to offer your Wonderful Readers awesomeness!

But first a question:   What's worse that squeeeeeeeezing yourself into a long column dress that should fit, but was probably mis-sized and has no give causing you to become stuck in it like an encased sausage—till a baffled sales associate pulls and tugs it back over your head—judgment written all over her disapproving face?

I'll tell you what's worse—shopping for a swimsuit!  I have not bought a new one in about eight years—and Maddie my dd, and Holly my gf, can verify this statement.   It was back then almost a decade ago when I found a cover-up for a swimsuit that had lycra in it.  I stitched a certain undergarment into it (somewhere between the neck and the waist) and called it a swim-dress.

I was ahead of my time.
