Her Safari

Her Safari, a collection of short stories--to be released 8/30/11. 

Dear Readers!

I (Lisa) thought this day would (seriously) never come.  What day is that? you ask.  The day a book that I had something to do with, would get published and be for sale and get sold.  Always I was plagued with the thought that I could get run over tomorrow and then *poof*--no more book.  *Poofs* and I are like "this" (shows first two fingers pressed together in Scout's Honor fashion)—bosom buddies.

But today, that is (most likely—why get too cocky?) all over.  Today Her Safari, a Scintillating Collection of Imaginative, Often Humerous, Tender, and Thought-Provoking Short Stories goes on Pre-sale.  That means EVEN if I should get run over by a herd of Stampeding Elephants, those books will get to you!  The only downside for me is that Sam (or Maddie—if Sam's with me) will reap the financial rewards.  

Let them eat cake!

At this point, I'm ecstatic to say that hardly anything could go wrong!

So, perhaps it's time to get some early Christmas shopping in?

Those who pre-purchase from now until August 2 will receive their books ahead of the release date 8/30 and pay NO shipping and handling.  Now that's a bargain!

Her Safari makes a stellar gift for all the girls and women  (and you) in your lives--no matter age or background.  And though it's written from a Christian worldview, it's not meant to proselytize . The presence of our Heavenly Father is gently woven into the pages as the stories unfold.  Women of all ages, in all their glory--with strength, ingenuity, and messiness--navigate their flawed worlds.  

And just in case anyone's wondering why all the stories center on females (and some of their men), it just happened that way.  There's another collection in the making:  That's What He Said
